Absolutely have to agree with you Harry. The extra toughs are extremely comfortable and they only come in the one color. They are really like wearing a pair of sandals. If you are working in an area with a lot of rip rap on the ground they aren't ideal for the fact of that, but for work at sea and on ground that isn't real sharp, they are wonderful.

Chris, I'm pretty sure those 'work boots' the women wear are nowhere near as durable or comfortable as the real thing! I love the versatility, however - great for heavy duty work on land or at sea.

It's funny, I'm back at university taking some classes right now and there's a huge resurgence of women wearing work boots like this to class. They even have them in pink or flower patterns. Personally, I keep mine for the fields :)

I absolutely love them. When I was commercial fishing it is all I wore. They are by far the most comfortable boot that I have ever worn bar none. My second favorite are a pair of redwings that I have had for over a year now. I am on my third pair of this style and I won't switch to another as it took so long to finally find a boot that fit my feet right.

Thanks for the comment

The work boot featured in your photo we call "gumboots" in New Zealand, or in the UK they are called "Wellingtons." They are really good especially in muddy boggy conditions like on a farm. The only thing you need to watch out for is sinking too deep into the mud and it coming over the top of the boot. Fortunately these come up high to the knee so that shouldn't be a problem. A great product!
